The Lassonde Co-op/Internship Student of the Year Award will recognize two students and their contribution to their respective co-op/internship employer in 2017.
The two winning students will receive a certificate and a $500 cash award from the Lassonde Co-op Program to recognize their achievements. All nominated students will receive a letter and certificate of recognition for their nomination. The awards will be presented at the Lassonde Awards in April 2018.
How to be considered for the award?
You can apply and nominate yourself.
Your co-op/internship supervisor can nominate you.
A fellow student, faculty member, or Lassonde staff can nominate you.
Overall Selection Criteria
The Lassonde Co-op team will review applications and present the top applicants to the Co-op & Internship Faculty Advisory Committee for a final vote and selection of the two award winners.

Explain why you should win the Student of the Year Award: (1) Include how you performed above and beyond your employer's expectations and your job description. (2) Include your contribution of team work and/or any other interpersonal skill(s) such as communication, initiative, leadership, etc.
An up-to- date resume including your extra-curricular activities at Lassonde/York University
A statement from your supervisor (150 words) of their personal comments about your contributions. Supervisors are required to submit their statement directly to the Lassonde Co-op via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
